NY Knicks PG Jeremy Lin Honored In Rap Song [Video]
With "Linsanity" sweeping the nation at a feverish pace, it was only a matter of time before Jeremy Lin's name emerged in your favorite rapper's next 16 bars. But before we can get a Lin dedication from one of the more prominent MC's in the game, we have an entire song dedicated to the young star point guard from a fellow Harvard student, Mega Ran. While Ran surprisingly beat one of the members of Slaughterhouse to the punch, this song is surely not going to be the last time you hear the point guard's name.
No one could have predicted that the person to turn around the New York Knicks' season would be the Taiwanese point guard from Harvard University. Easily the hottest story in the NBA, Lin has led the Knicks to five straight victories averaging 26.8 points, 8 assists, and 4 rebounds per game. What's most impressive about Lin's statistics are that they've come without contributions from the team's star players, Carmelo Anthony and Amar'e Stoudemire. The five game win streak also includes Lin dropping 38 on the #KobeSystem, in a 92-85 defeat of the Los Angeles Lakers.
Check the dedication to "Linsanity" and let us know what you think.
