’90’s Rapper Akinyele Opens Lollypop Gentlemen’s Club In Las Vegas [PHOTOS]
Nineties rapper Akinyele hasn’t had a hit out in over a decade, but he’s found a very lucrative way to continue to make money. Famous for his single “Put It In Your Mouth,” the New York rapper recently opened Lollypops, a gentlemen’s club in Las Vegas.
In one week Akinyele grossed an impressive $5 million , in collaboration with partners Cliff Dutton and Jay. “We decided to officially launch LollyPops and align ourselves during the Mayweather vs. Cotto fight weekend and I can proudly say there are now two winners,” he said. “We’ve been thrilled and amazed to see lines of both men and women still coming at 8 a.m. and this has been every single night, better yet morning I should say, over the past 10 days.”
With his rapping days behind him, Akinyele has brought his entertainment connections into the strip club business, locking in Whoo Kid as the club’s resident DJ. Other big names showing his club love include, Ray J, Gary Payton, Bobby Brackins, Mistah Fab, Marshawn Lynch, and Sleepy Brown. Peep photos from the grand opening in the gallery.
