George Zimmerman's Wife Had Over $60,000 Before Bond Hearing
More evidence damaging George Zimmerman and his wife, Shellie's, credibility has been released. Shellie, who was arrested for lying to police about being broke during her husband's bond hearing, had more than $60,000 in her bank account, at the time.
The 25-year-old wife of the accused killer had a total amount of $63,000 one day prior to testifying to being unsure of their financial status. Zimmerman received the money via his donation website, which his lawyer, Mike O'Mara shut down so that he would have “no web presence.” O'Mara later opened another site for his client, but is in control of the content.
This new information is the latest in a bunch of documents unveiling the 28-year-old as being deceitful and showing no remorse for killing Trayvon Martin. During a call with his wife in April, the former neighborhood watch captain instructed his other half to move thousands of dollars into separate accounts. Shellie also assured Zimmerman that everything would work out. “I'm so happy to know that you're gonna be okay,” she said. “After this… you're gonna be able to just, have a great life.”
Zimmerman's latest bond hearing will be held next week.
