Usher has bad luck with women. Aside from being embroiled in a heated custody battle, the singer also has a stalker, who wants nothing more than to become the next Mrs. Usher Raymond IV. Darshelle Jones-Rekstraw, 26, has been tireless in her efforts to earn the affection of the multi-Grammy winner, so much so that he has been granted a temporary restraining order to keep her at bay.
According to the filing, Rekstraw showed up at his Atlanta home, banging on his door and demanding to be let inside. Cops were called to the scene, and after leaving, the woman returned the next day. Usher claims that her actions have "placed [him] in reasonable fear for his own safety and/or the safety of his immediate family."
In a video, posted on YouTube Wednesday (June 27), Rekstraw blamed Usher for making her stalk him, a move that was probably more incriminating than helpful. "Yesterday I received a call from Mr. Raymond stating that he wanted to sue me," she says on the video. "Mr. Raymond has trespassed me, and tried to charge me with criminal trespassing."
She goes on to state that he wants the attention. "I'm assuming that when he calls me he expects me to answer his call, and it doesn't matter how I get to him, that is the reason why I showed up at his property."
Of course Rekstraw has no intentions of going down without a fight, she has accused Usher of "slander," and plans to sue him.
