Things aren’t looking great for Coolio’s son, Grtis Ivey. Earlier in the year he and his father were locked up at the same Las Vegas jail, and now he’s been sentenced for robbing an apartment in Las Vegas alongside a female friend.

TMZ is reporting that Ivey was sentenced for the crime but faces between 42-120 months in prison. A rep for the Clark County District Attorney’s office told the website that the 22-year-old must serve a minimum of 42 months, but can be held for up to a decade if the Nevada Department of Corrections decides to keep him for longer.

The young man, who appeared on his father’s Coolio’ Rules reality show pleaded guilty to felony robbery, in order to have the remaining felony charges against him dropped. He has been in custody since his arrest, in November of last year.

Ivey and his female friend—who was a prostitute—were busted for breaking into an apartment, forcing the victim into the bathroom then robbing the person at gun point. He allegedly committed the crime to get back  money which the tenant owed to his friend.

Coolio hasn’t released a statement on his son’s fate.
