The REJ3CTZ want people to vote, and have put together the new single “Solid” to encourage registration. The Southern California rap collective dropped the socially conscious track, which is in direct support of the newly launched Turn Up to Vote, registration movement.
In addition to the release, the REJ3CTZ will campaign this fall through the November election, via college campuses and in the community, in an attempt to raise awareness and register voters. Specifically, the group is looking to reach young people, who will be voting for the first time.
“Solid” will also be featured on the REJ3CTZ forthcoming album, CR33ZTAPE which includes 24 tracks of original music and remixes, with two bonus tracks. Known for their breakout single "Cat Daddy," and it's accompanying dance, the group sold over 500,000 copies of the single independently, while the video reached 80 million views on YouTube. CR33ZTAPE will feature collaborations with T-Pain, Ray J, Too $hort, YG, Kurupt, Omarion, Travis Porter, Tyga and many more.
