Sacramento County DA Issues Arrest Warrant For Katt Williams Over 3-Wheeler Police Chase
Katt Williams is in more legal trouble than he can keep up with these days. The district attorney in Sacramento County issued an arrest warrant against him Tuesday (Dec. 4).
The warrant was issued over an incident between Williams and authorities last month, when he led them on a pursuit via a three-wheeled motorcycle. He is wanted for reckless speeding and failing to stop for California Highway Patrol officers.
Despite being told to stop, and remove his helmet, Williams reportedly told officers "I'm not going to take my helmet off!"
He also ran several red lights but was not issued a citation.
As it turns out the police chase wasn't even the most bizarre thing to happen during his time in the Sacramento area. He also slapped a Target employee then escaped the scene on a three-wheeled skooter.
The last few months have been filled with craziness for the 39-year-old. Currently on a nationwide comedy tour, he's angered fans by repeatedly showing up late (if at all), fighting, and performing incoherent sets. Earlier in the week he announced his retirement from comedy, only to change his mind a couple of days later.
In addition to the warrant in Sacramento, Williams is facing assault charges for allegedly attacking a female bar owner, and another bystander in Seattle. He's also being sued for allegedly attacking a female assistant, flubbing a show in Oakland, Calif., and breaking a bottle over an 18-year-old man's head.
