French Montana was a guest on The Breakfast Club this morning shortly after performing at SOB’s in New York City last night.

In this interview with DJ Envy, Charlemagne The God and Anglea Yee, French touched on multiple topics including the recent shooting that took place outside of his tour bus in Philadelphia. In addition to shooting down [no pun intended] rumors that he was involved or targeted, he also spoke about his upcoming album, Excuse My French, and the inclusion of Max B.

” I still have some work of his that I haven’t released yet. I’m actually going to be giving his family, like a certain amount of money off of each album that gets sold,” French told Angela Yee of The Breakfast Club. Yee went on to inquire if Jim Jones still had contractual obligations  towards Bigavelli.

“I’m not going to use him as far as songs on the album because I don’t know what as far as paperwork. You know Max would just sign anything. Would be like $100,000 he’d say give me that…then there goes half my publishing. So he’d sign anything. So I don’t know where the paperwork was going to come from but, I just got him talking on the intro.”
