When visiting the Sway In the Morning crew, it’s customary for rappers to drop bars, but only a select few run through the gauntlet known as the “5 Fingers of Death.” Most would guess wrong if asked who was the the standard for said freestyle. Ironically it happens to be Wayne Brady, who recently appeared on the show for a second time.

Considering that the singer, actor and comedian got his bearings doing improv on shows like Whose Line Is It Anyway, Brady’s ability to pull raps off the top of the dome should be no surprise.

“I try to tell a lot of rappers ‘If you come up here don’t freestyle’,” said Sway. “A lot of dudes sign they own death warrant, because they don’t have the ability [or] skill to do it.”

Brady explained, “I don’t pretend to be a MC. I’m not a MC. I do improvisation, so if I couldn’t do a freestyle, then you have no business coming to check out my improv show.”

With that, Brady defecated on struggle rappers near and far with rhymes detailing a few Hip-Hop current events. Don’t believe us? See it for yourself below.
