Wale takes us to a world where 16 is enough in the visual for “Back 2 Ballin.” The number we’re referring to has nothing to do with his bars and everything to do with graphics –particularly bits– because he and his rhyming brethren French Montana take on the roles of video game characters in the video.

In partnership with Skull Candy and Funny Or Die, the DMV native delivers perhaps his most creative treatment to date as an accompanying piece to this catchy jam.

Two beautiful women –minimally clothed might we add– blow the dust off of their Sega Genesis to play a game titled after the track. Those of age to know will recognize Wale’s inspirations from classic titles like Streets of Rage and more.

“Back 2 Ballin” originally appeared on his 2012 mixtape Folarin. That same project birthed his hit record “Bad,” featuring Tiara Thomas, which properly set things off for his latest release, The Gifted.
