The Tanning Of America series has recounted Hip-Hop's transition from the block to the boardroom. The final installment brought the documentary to a masterful close with a focus on the culture's now global reach.
In "Part Four: All Around The World", Steve Stoute and company brings the viewer to more modern day correlations with the importance of the Eminem era. After the crash and burn of Vanilla Ice, the white rapper category in Rap was spotty at best for many years.
More importantly the episode details how much of a real influence Hip-Hop had in electing 44th and current President of the United States Barack Obama. This includes Kanye West's "George Bush doesn't care about Black people" outburst to will.i.am's tribute song "Yes We Can".
