All the buzz and momentum Post Malone built up with his “White Iverson” record is now going to have to be reverted to a “I’m Not a Racist” campaign.

The KanyeToThe forum has unearthed a two-year-old video of Post Malone saying the n-word with someone who appears to be a family member. During the six-second clip (which originally appeared on Vine), the 20-year-old Dallas-to-Los Angeles transplant was lounging on the couch watching Animal Planet’s Too Cute when he put the cell phone into selfie mode and said, “Yeah, we watch Too Cute, ni**a.”

Since the aforementioned hit song generated overnight success for the kid, accusations of being a “culture vulture” and descendant of RiFF RAFF have haunted Malone, as he readies his major label debut. To be fair, there are several young Hip-Hop fans who say the word on the regular without having any direct ties to “the streets,” but it’s been an underlying rule that the word is off-limits to people who are not African-American, especially those in the public eye.
