Few things make a celebrity backpedal faster than being exposed for racist behavior (just ask the folks at Anonymous).
But when a few celebrities exposed their inner Clayton Bigsby, these 13 people who allegedly gave racists a pass, were more than happy to done a cape and come to the rescue.

Aisha Tyler
When The Talk co-host Aisha Tyler said she wanted to see more evidence after fired Spring Valley deputy Ben Fields power slammed a 15-year-old girl, she was mercilessly dragged and called a sell-out (among other things).
Common
Those Golden Globe and Oscar wins couldn’t save Common from catching the wrath of Black Twitter after he said the key to ending racism was to extend a hand of love to those exhibiting racist behavior.
Mike Tyson
When the WWE booted Hulk Hogan for his racist remarks about his daughter allegedly sleeping with a black man. Just in case you’re wondering, The Hulkster did drop an N-bomb, but Mike Tyson doesn’t think he’s a racist or anything like that.
President Obama
The POTUS gets a bit of a mulligan here, because his job description prevents him from going full Southside on Donald Trump and other racists demanding he show his birth certificate to prove he was indeed a natural born citizen.
Stacey Dash
By now, we all know Dame’s fine but confused cousin is down to shuck and jive for Fox News on command. She’s co-signed Bill O’Reilly and Sean Hannity’s toxic line of “logic” so many times it doesn’t even phase us anymore.
Steve Harvey
After Paula Deen was caught sounding like a plantation owner out of the 1700s, Steve Harvey had the audacity to pick her as a mentor for a group of at-risk, black youth. If the logic of this decision escapes you, you’re not alone.
Usher
Justin Bieber has been busted on at least two occasions being blatantly racist. Given that Biebs is the personal cash cow of both LA Reid and Usher, they expressed disappointment but didn’t distance themselves from the little hell spawn.
Michael Vick
When video of Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Riley Cooper surfaced featuring Cooper offering to fight every n***er at a Kenny Chesney concert, Vick initially extended the olive branch saying black teammates should forgive Cooper. The Eagles opted against renewing Vick’s contract in 2014, but Cooper is still with the team.
Nick Young
Dating Swaggy P and consistently appropriating black culture doesn’t give Igloo Australia a pass. Prior to getting dragged for her 2014 tone deaf responses about Hip-Hop and black culture, Iggy dropped all kinds of racist tweets about Latinos, Asians, and black folks.
Russell Simmons
Remember when John Mayer compared his member to former KKK leader David Duke in a 2010 Playboy interview? Both Russell Simmons and Jermaine Durpi agreed the comments were racially insensitive, but ultimately gave Mayer a pass.
Jay Z
There’s a reason melanin-deprived people refer to Jay Z and Kanye West’s 2011 single as “Ball So Hard” instead of its real name. Gwyneth Paltrow apparently never got the memo in 2012, as she tweeted, “Ni**as In Paris” next to a picture of herself, Jay Z, The-Dream, and two of Jigga’s affiliates. Hov and The-Dream gave her a pass.
The NAACP
If you thought the racist remarks that ultimately got Donald Sterling banned from the NBA were a first-time offense, think again. Sterling allegedly paraded his previous jumpoff through the locker room to marvel at his players “beautiful black bodies,” and he also was forced to settle a $2.75 million housing discrimination suit. All of this happened while the NAACP came this close to giving Sterling a lifetime achievement award.
Billy King
Because Duke University alumni stick together, Brooklyn Nets struggle GM Billy King was one of the first people to defend Danny Ferry after he was suspended for making racist remarks about Luol Deng while Ferry was the GM of the Atlanta Hawks.
