Redman and Method Man have been a force to be reckoned with ever since they first connected on the all-time classic record, “How High” and made a stoner comedy off the strength of the name. Although said movie was released in 2001, fans have been clamoring for a follow-up to no avail.

During part three of our exclusive Redman sitdown, the veteran MC promises that patience is a virtue and the ball for How High 2 has begun to roll.

“Universal owned the name and we couldn’t take it to another company,” Reggie Noble says of the hold up regarding the sequels. “After the How High, [Universal] was doing the Harold & Kumar joints,” which explains the more urban comedy being pushed on the backburner.

When asked about Blackout 3, Redman actually stated that his third album with Method Man would be a tie in for the How High 2 movie.

The year 2017 can’t come fast enough.
