Black voters took to Twitter earlier this week to share why they aren’t voting for Bernie Sanders. The explanations are…interesting.
As the 2016 Presidential primaries wind down, Hilary Clinton is emerging as the clear frontrunner while less and less voters appear to #FeelTheBern and the revolution that Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders has been offering.
Despite ringing endorsements from Spike Lee, Killer Mike [and Lil Yachty and Lil B] many Black voters are choosing not to back Sanders for various reasons. Some of them were shared via the #BernieLostMe hashtag that emerged on Twitter earlier this week.

Many have expressed their annoyance with Bernie Sanders supporters “Berniesplaining” or talking down to them if they support Clinton [or Trump] instead of their guy. Others have stated that they aren’t voting for Sanders because he has opted to talk about problems that effect ALL people instead of just BLACK people.

Of course, like most hashtags, it was hijacked. Bernie supporters used the hashtag to show the reasons why people should be voting for him, while other people used to the hashtag just to crack jokes.
The hashtag has continued to gain steam as a result of violence erupting at the recent Democratic convention in Nevada where Sanders supporters have been accused of throwing chairs.
