Draymond Green‘s off-season seems to be mired in as much struggle as his NBA Finals performance. The Golden State Warrior was arrested in East Lansing, Michigan On Sunday (July 10) on assault charges after an altercation in a bar.

Reports ESPN:

“It was basically an altercation between two guys,” police said. “There’s no injuries. He was released with a $200 bond on Sunday.”

Green is scheduled for arraignment on July 20. If convicted, he would face a maximum of 93 days in jail and a $500 fine.

In a statement, the Warriors said they are “aware of news” involving Green.

“At this point, we are collecting information and will have no further comment until we have a better understanding of the situation,” the team said.

According to the San Francisco Chronicle, Green slapped a fan that was taunting him. No deals on whether or not it was open-handed or not, stay tuned.

In a perfect world, they could call this even if said fan was indeed taunting the man. However, expect a lawsuit or at least a settlement out of court.

But hey, at least Green didn’t kick the guy in the balls.
