Fifteen years ago, Fabolous dropped his debut album, Ghetto Fabolous. Today (Sept. 15), Fab joined The Breakfast Club to reflect on that infamous day in American and Hip-Hop history and some of the more interesting moments in his career thus far.

(function(d, s, id) {

if (d.getElementById(id)) return;

var js = d.createElement(s); js.id = id;

js.src = ‘//cdn4.wibbitz.com/static.js’;

d.getElementsByTagName(‘body’)[0].appendChild(js);

}(document, ‘script’, ‘wibbitz-static-embed’));

While it was a decent debut project any potential noise it would’ve made was drowned out by two louder events: 9/11 and Jay-Z. September 11th 2001 not only marked the day America was attacked on its own soil but it also saw Jay-Z release his second classic offering in The Blueprint.

But time has seen the Brooklyn MC continually progress in his career and 15 years later F-A-B-O-L-O-U-S has surely become one of Hip-Hops more prominent names. From speaking about why he was comfortable dropping on the same day as Jay to his dislike of ghostwriting for other rappers, Fabolous gives listeners some intriguing insider information that you won’t hear on any of his records or mixtapes.

Here are the 12 things we learned from Fabolous on The Breakfast Club.
