Hip Hop Trivia ATL Announces Def Jam Records As This Week’s Theme

 

Hip Hop Trivia ATL is rapidly becoming one of the most talked about events in Atlanta and the hype is sure to grow after this week’s edition. The entire night of questions will revolve around Def Jam Records.

Entering its 13th week of competition, and it’s second quarter of 2016, Hip Hop Trivia ATL has brought out some of the biggest Hip Hop heads, fans and artists in the city to partake. Teams with names ranging from Brew Tang Clan (six-time champs) to DJ Paul’s Little Arm (two-time champs

The night is comprised of five rounds based on one theme or topic. Prior themes have included, Rap Beef, East Coast Hip-Hop, West Coast Hip-Hop, 1996, Southern Hip-Hop, Gangsta Rap, One Hit Wonders and Women In Hip Hop.

This week’s theme will cover the expansive history of iconic the Def Jam Records from 1983 to now. So expect the questions to range from LL Cool J to Ludacris to Lil Durk.

The only rules are that you can’t use Google and your team can not have more than six people.

Make sure you come and see what it’s about. Everyone from Andre 3000 to Killer Mike DITC founder Diamond D has stopped by already.

Hip Hop Trivia ATL is hosted by Branden Peters and Maurice Garland of Day 1 Radio and Damn Pham. Sounds provided by Dj Dusei Da Great.

The competition goes down every Wednesday at Slice Atlanta in downtown Atlanta. Starts at 8 p.m. sharp. Get there early for the best chance to earn points and win. Prize: $50 bar tab.
