Scottie Pippen deserves an award for keeping his cool and not choking a cameraman who asked him “where’s Future?”
In case you chose not to pay attention, Pippen and his wife Larsa have reportedly been reconciling their marriage. Reports of a split began surfacing last year when Pippen filed for divorce. Somehow rapper Future‘s name came up as the reason why. Future and Larsa were spotted partying together on numerous occasions but both parties maintained that they were just friends.
Fast forward to now, Pippen has reportedly put another ring on it and is trying to start love over.
But, some vicious paparazzi are still looking for some dirt and they almost got more than what they asked for. As the Pippens were leaving a Los Angeles restaurant, a group of paparazzi surrounded the couple and hurled questions at them about their reconciliation. But then someone crossed the line and asked “where’s Future?”
Things got very quiet.
Pippen gave the guilty camera man a 1990s playoff basketball death stare, but then seemed to remind himself that it’s 2017 and cameras were on him. Meaning that he could either ignore the question or have a flashback to a Pistons or Knicks game and wind up in handcuffs like Charles Oakley and possibly get a lawsuit in the process.
Pippen proved to be the bigger man and simply asked the paparazzi, “Are y’all done?” It was about as tense as it was when Birdman posed the same question to the Breakfast Club this year.
The cameramen all burst into laughter afterwards but it was obvious that Pippen didn’t find a damn thing funny.
