Nas headlining a concert is already a win, but even more so when said show’s tickets cost Free.99. The Queensbridge rapper is holding down the PANDORA SOUNDS LIKE YOU: NYC.

Music streaming platform Pandora’s aim is to celebrate the sounds of NYC, and the festivities go down July 19 at the Brooklyn Steel venue, in Brooklyn, obviously. Other acts on the bill include up and coming NYC MC’s Young M.A. and Dave East while the legendary Biz Markie will be DJ’ing.

“This event is a natural extension of the Sounds Like You campaign which was created to highlight the hyper personal music experience on Pandora,” said Jeff Zuchowski, VP of artist marketing at Pandora via a press statement. “We are honored to work with Nas, an iconic New York City voice with over a billion spins on Pandora. We’re also excited to welcome Young M.A  who drew great crowds at Pandora’s SXSW activation, Dave East, whose weekly station adds are largely from fans in New York City, and New York’s own legendary Biz Markie. The popularity of these artists and their music on Pandora is a true testament to the power of hip-hop.”

True indeed. You can expect Nas to honor the late Prodigy during his set.
