Today marks the premiere of the second episode of The FADER and Sprite’s Obey Your Thirst collaborative documentary series focuses on the legendary Nas. The Queensbridge veteran shares how he was driven to succeed as a Hip-Hop artist while sharing advice to the up and comers as only an OG can.

Veteran rapper Nas has never been one to shy away from sensitive cultural issues within his music, and as been one of the few mainstream artists to do so. The Queensbridge wordsmith wrote a lengthy post on Instagram discussing race in America and the possibility of equality.

Leave it to Nas to properly summarize the Hip-Hop community’s thoughts over the horrific Charleston church shooting.

Nas is a man of many talents and tastes. The Queens rapper’s latest venture is teaming with NYC restaurant Sweet Chick to help expand the brand nationally. 

Sprite premiered its new spot to promote its “Obey Your Verse” Lyrical collection, which features Nas and Drake lyrics on their bottles and cans, just prior to tonight’s (June 14) NBA Finals game.
