The Jordan Brand Classic has become an iconic game that showcases prep stars that will soon become household names. It goes down in Brooklyn at the Barclays Center on April 15, and Jordan Brand has opened a pop-up shop at 166 Flatbush Ave. to celebrate the game.
Nicki Minaj‘s status as a fashion icon and trailblazer can’t be argued, and it appears that the Queens entertainer might be turning heads in the sneaker world too. On Instagram, Minaj showed off some custom pink Air Jordans and hinted that they may be part of a collaboration with the Jordan Brand.
Along with the McDonald’s All America game, the Jordan Brand classic has become the premier all-star game for the nation’s top high school basketball players. This year’s games will be once again be held at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, and Nicki Minaj will perform.
