“It’s your boy Snoop D-O Double G and I am such a fan of the WWE.”

Recently, the WWE has broadened its audience and found a new way to appeal to fans by having guest hosts appear on the show.  From Bob Barker to Floyd “Money” Mayweather to Al Sharpton, the wrestling universe has covered all aspects of the country.

Monday night exploded as a pink Cadillac rolled into the arena and rapper Snoop Dogg stepped out of the driver’s seat as the guest host.  Of course, being the Dogg, he was accompanied by a band of “groupies” as the Divas tagged along.

As Malice In Wonderland is set to drop December 8, what better of an opportunity and outlet than Raw for the rapper to expose fans to his upcoming project.  The night was filled with the sounds of his track “Gangsta Love” featuring The Dream.

Wrestlers must have taken his skinny demeanor as something to not be intimidated by, but everybody’s uncle had something in store for the likes of one Chavo Guerrero.  Coming to the aid of Hornswoggle, Snoop proceeded to assert his force as the host by laying Guerrero out with a clothesline and following it up with a spear.

Let it be known that this is the SECOND time that Snoop was forced to let a wrestler know that the rap game has built some warriors.

As is with the rapper and his addiction to particular medicines, the Doggfather made sure to take a little time to enjoy pleasures of the herbal scents as the program needed to deal with some temporary technical difficulties.

It’s good to see that the likes of Snoop can continue to step outside his box and broaden the horizon for Hip-Hop.  Whether it be for the publicity or purely for the love of the sport, everything counts.

Also stay tuned to Hip-Hop Wired as Snoop D.O. Double G will be hosting the site next week. Chuuchhh!!!
