ATL Native, Yung Joc, fell victim to a robbery over the weekend.  Joc himself wasn’t present at the time of the robbery of his recording studio located in a home on Boyd Avenue, in the Northwest Section of Atlanta.

The suspects got away with an estimated $50,000 in equipment.  Two men allegedly hid in the bushes nearby the home, and then surprised two caretakers of the studio (a man and a woman), and tied them up in a bathroom inside the studio.  Luckily the two were able to break free and go to a nearby location to call the police.

Joc took to twitter to confirm what happened:

“#robbingseason!!!!!!!!! It’s officially here!!! They took all my Shyte!!! Now watch god bless me with sumn Bigga and better!! Love,” he tweeted December 18th. “Just thankful they didn’t kill my ppl.

Police don’t have anyone in custody as of yet, but are hopeful that the clues will emerge soon.
