?uestlove and restaurateur David Chang took their recent twitter banter about who had the best fried chicken to Late Night With Jimmy Kimmel. The Roots drummer and renowned chef battled it out over who made the best fried chicken legs. The judges were Mad Men‘s John Slattery, 30 Rock‘s Tina Fey and Steve Higgins. No spoilers, you’ll have to watch the clip below, but thankfully no one of color was singing for fried yard bird.
Check this off as a victory for the anti-coonery movement. Also, Chang said “?uestlove’s chicken is weak like clock radio speakers.” Someone on the the writing team is a GZA fan. Word. Proceeds of sales of the winner’s chicken will go to the Food Bank of New York City. Nice.
