In today’s latest word in the wacky world of Metta World Peace, the Lakers forward will be playing a detective in a Lifetime Movie Network film for Nancy Grace.  Couldn’t make this up if I tried to, folks. According to USA Today, The Eleventh Victim is a film based on a book written by television political analyst Nancy Grace. According to sources, Metta got the gig after his appearance on Dancing With The Stars, where he met Grace and Jennie Garth, who also appears in the film.

“I wanted to cast someone for whom I have a true fondness,” Grace told William Keck of TV Guide. “Metta World Peace was my first pick.”
