Hip-Hop is still reeling from the possibility that the prolific writing ability displayed by Nas could potentially be the work of someone else, and now stic.man of dead prez is speaking out on the issue.

Stic.man is one of the two people— the other being Jay Electronica— who writer dream hampton revealed as being ghostwriters on the rapper’s Untitled album. In response to the fury, he explained his involvement in the project. “As far as the rumors about myself and jay electronika ghost writing for Nas, let me say this,” he wrote on Facebook. “Nas is one of the if not the most prolific original lyricist to EVER do it. My contributions to his album was a collaboration and an honor and under his direction of what he wanted to convey and say. Haters cant discredit that man’s genuis. Nas is the Don.”

Nas has already denied using anyone’s help to pen his lyrical feats.

Hampton, who has threatened to quit Twitter before, received some negative responses for putting Nas on blast, but decided to stand her ground  “Ok, was I on here long enough to say I wasn’t run off? Because I’m so ready to leave now…,” she wrote.

In related news, Electronica has been silent about the whole thing, which is probably a good choice.
