Bad Boy rapper Machine Gun Kelly has the honor of landing John Cena’s official theme song for World Wrestling Entertainment’s Wrestlemania XXVIII. WWE (formerly the World Wrestling Federation) will be holding their annual Wrestlemania pay per view extravaganza on April 1, 2012, at Sun Life Stadium in Miami, Florida.

MGK’s song “Invincible” well serving as the introductory theme Cena. “The reaction to ‘Invincible’ has been amazing. First, Verizon picked it to run in their campaign and now it’s an official Wrestlemania song. It’s crazy.”

Kelly added, “John Cena and myself are both underdogs and the song is about struggle, I think it’s so cool they chose it.”

Cena will be facing off against The Rock. Last year’s Wrestlemania event grossed over $6.6 million in ticket sales, which means this will be tremendous exposure for Kelly, who will be on his Hostile Takeover Tour during the airing of the event.

This is a great piece of good news for Kelly, who’s recently experience a bit of legal troubles. Kelly was apprehended while in Florida on charges of misdemeanor disorderly conduct, but was shortly released on $100 bond. Hopefully the Bad Boy artist can remain focused and continue to receive good news such as this.

Here’s a look at WWE’s Promo on John Cena, featuring MGK’s “Invincible.”
