We are seven days away from getting the chance to pick up 2 Chainz’s highly anticipated debut, Based On A T.R.U. Story, in stores or online. Last night (August 6), 2 Necklaces was back in his Atlanta hometown and hosted a listening session for his new album at Tree Sound Studios. A number of local artists came through to support the G.O.O.D. Music rapper including MCs Killer Mike, Kardinal Offishall and Pill as well as R&B crooners Ne-Yo and Bobby V.

The good folks at ATLPics were in the studio and snapped photos of the event. It’s gotta be a good sign when a rapper likes dancing to his own music like 2 Chainz. Based On A T.R.U. Story is out August 14th. Check out pics of the numerous attendees in the gallery, after the break.
