The “Nature Boy” Ric Flair has fought and won hundreds of battles in his life as a 16-time World Heavyweight Champion. However, a battle with his ex-wife is one he’s not willing to take on.
The most influential pro wrestler of the modern era has filed an order of domestic violence protection against his ex-wife, Jackie Beems, claiming she has endangered his life in drunken fits of rage. The wrestler who is famous for his outstanding gift of gab as well as his flashy wardrobe, claims Jackie attacked him back in February of 2010 with a glass object; shattered it over his forehead and cut him severely requiring medical attention.
Beems, who is the wrestling legend’s fourth wife, also claims that she was once arrested for driving while over three times the legal limit with a blood alcohol level of .22 according to TMZ. The two have been separated since December but Flair still claims to be terrified of his estranged wife and wants to void a separation agreement he signed in October, in which he promised to pay her tens of thousands of dollars.
The Nature Boy’s estranged wife is claiming that the allegations are 100% false, and that the WWE Hall Of Famer is doing this as a “cheap trick to avoid paying her the money to which she is entitled.”
Flair is currently signed to World Wrestling Entertainment under a Legend’s contract although he is not actively competing.
