Mark this day as the day that Consequence lost himself. Not because he says a bunch of crazy stuff, but because there seems to be a lot of chaos in his life.

The Cons called into Hot 97 to speak with Angie Martinez about slapping Joe Budden at the Love & Hip Hop New York reunion, this week. Out the gate Cons started spewing all kinds of stories, that even confused Martinez from time to time. He did, however explain what has been misreported. “The No. 1 thing is I don’t run from nobody,” he said. “Why would I smack somebody and then run, but stay there to get jumped? I never ran from nothing.”

As for what led to the altercation, Cons mentioned that extra awkward Hot 97 interview where Budden popped up, to give a low-pitched warning. “When I spoke to him at Hot 97 he said to me and Jen that he would never make mention [of] us in the public. However I looked in the video, I spoke to [Hot 97 program director] Ebro about it, me and Ebro had a man-to-man conversation. Ebro tweeted that me and Joe had a man-to-man conversation, fine.”

The beef would’ve have been squashed, had Budden not done an interview with This Is 50, where he was asked about who won the fight. “He talks about the interview at Hot [97] then he goes on and say ‘but if Consequence ever does an interview like he did before I’ma have to approach him a different way.’ That’s the piece of the story that he doesnt’ tell anybody.”

Cons took the quip as a threat, and because he’s “trained to go,” a physical altercation was bound to happen.

During the 22-minute interview, Martinez questioned why both parties can’t get over it.”You said stuff, he didn’t like it, he said stuff, you didn’t like it. Everybody go get your money. That’s it, lets put it to bed.”

Things weren’t all negative though, during the interview Cons made peace with Tahiry, stating that he has no problems with her, but he also outted LHHNY as being completely fake. “This [fight] is the realest thing that happened on this show all season.”

Sounds like somebody just secured his place for season four.
