If A$AP Ferg‘s “Shabba” didn’t pique your interest initially, that should change after seeing the accompanying visual. Alongside A$AP Rocky and the entire A$AP Mob (or at least a good portion of them), Fergenstein introduces viewers to the lifestyle of the young, rich and famous, Harlem style.
“Sha-Shabba Ranks/Sha-Sha-Shabba Ranks/Eight gold rings like I’m Sha-Shabba Ranks,” echoes the chorus. Meanwhile, Ferg and Rocky mob out in their vintage whip with a pair of vanilla vixens.
Other scenes are equally random, albeit entertaining. But things come to a head towards the end of the treatment, when the real Shabba Ranks shows face to party with the New York City collective.
“Shabba” is Ferg’s official follow up to “Work,” and will appear on the MC’s long-awaited Trap Lord mixtape. Expect that to release August 20. See the video below.
