Some folks still aren’t sold on Tyler, The Creator (and they probably never will be), but at this point, you’ve to admit that the 22-year-old is very talented. Last night, the perplexing rapper continued his streak of quality visuals by releasing the treatment for his Wolf track, “Tamale.”
Scenes switch up faster than Tyler’s flow on the gyrating tune. At one moment, he takes the form of three talking heads. Soon after, viewers will see the MC and a few Odd Future brethren running a muck at a golf course and public swimming pool.
One could argue that this is video of the year strictly because of the 30 seconds Tyler uses video vixen Bria Myle’s caboose as a trampoline.
The mania calms down at the end when the song switches to melodic, thought provoking tune about his missing-in-action father, “Answer.” Peep Pharrell in the cut around that time.
