TDE is making a hell of an effort to promote their new artists. One of which is Isaiah Rashad, a Chattanooga, Tenn. rapper that returns today with an “I Shot You Down (Remix),” featuring his labelmates ScHoolboy Q and Jay Rock.

Top Dawg prefaced the song’s release with a tweet. Q also alluded to this track during a recent Sway In The Morning interview.

Interestingly enough, it’s the bucket hat aficionado who makes a special announcement, of sorts, in his verse. “I’m tired of answering questions, why Oxymoron delayed/ See I was thinking November, but January is sweet/They said my Setbacks free, my Habits won in my sleep,” Quincy rhymes, referencing the month he released his two previous projects.

And with that, we know to expect ScHoolboy’s LP at the top of 2014. That’s in addition to projects fans expect from Rashad and Top Dawg’s other recent signee SZA.

Lend an ear to the “I Shot You Down (Remix)” below.
