Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Teddy Riley is suing pop megastar, Lady Gaga TMZ reports.
Riley, who’s songwriting credits include songs for Michael Jackson, Blackstreet and Guy, claims to never have been paid for his contributions for Lady Gaga’s “Teeth,” which appeared on the 2009’s The Fame Monster.
The lawsuit says he was set to get 25 percent of writing fees and now he’s barking back, suing for $500K plus punitive damages.
The album featured multi-platinum singles such as “Bad Romance” and “Telephone” (featuring Beyoncé). “Teeth” appears as the last song on the tracklist.
