After five years of prison Baton Rouge’s own Lil Boosie was freed to much hoopla. During a recent New York visit he stopped by The Breakfast Club, so consider his run at a comeback officially on.

While he was a notorious advocate for living the savage life, we get to see a bit more wisdom exercised from the man who referred to himself as the Bad Azz.

In the almost 30 minute interview DJ Envy, Angela Yee and Charlamagne Tha God got Boosie to open up about his style, prison time, thoughts on the game currently and having to slow things down.

The Boosie Fade

With the popularity of his hairstyle, Boosie gave the proper description of what the Boosie Fade is. He let it be known that while many claim to be able to cut it, few are able to do it to Boosie’s satisfaction.

The Homecoming

While his return to the streets was a big deal, he feels half of the people that celebrated him when he came home where either bandwagon fans or people that heard so much about his release they decided to finally do their homework on the Bad Azz.

A New Boosie

Now that Boosie is home, his focus is his family and keeping the business going. He states that we will no longer be caught hanging in the hood. Hopefully he is a man of his word.

Living The Clean Life

Boosie states that he currently drug free and feels that he able to better navigate the system without being constantly intoxicated.

The Pimp

Pimp C was a mentor to Boosie in many ways that the general public wasn’t aware of. Since Sweet Jones passed, Boosie has lacked a real advisor in his corner.

Webbie

In his return to the streets he has also had to slow down his partner Webbie from playing the streets too hard.

Reality Television

While you won’t be catching him on any reality television show, he isn’t stopping his four baby mothers’ from getting their show green-lighted.

The Album

Boosie states his new album will be released in July which will feature Jeezy, Meek Mill, T.I., K Michelle and more. After that he will start working on his movie and another album to be release around the holidays.
