I’ma let you finish, but Beyoncé had the best video –– j/k. Truth is, Taylor Swift’s “Shake It Off,” the leading single from her upcoming 1989 album, is catchy as hell and bound to take off on the Top 100. But while America’s favorite sweetheart gets down to “this sick beat,” she throws in a little hip and thigh, as she attempts to gyrate her ass (or lack thereof).

In one shot, she’s a B-Girl fully dressed in breakdancing gear, boom box in tow. In another, she’s the girl from around the way, clad in booty shorts and door knocker earrings. She even tries her hand at “twerking” while her bevy of “homegirls” (largely of color) do the same, only instinctively better.

But who cares, “cus the players gonna play, play play, and the haters gonna hate, hate, hate.”

Peep the single’s video treatment below. Let us know your thoughts in the comments.
