During his time away from the league, NBA player Stephen Jackson (Stak5) has put his pen and pad to work. His latest cut, “Amerika Da Beautiful,” comes in wake of outwardly racist remarks from former Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling, Michael Brown’s death, and the events that have followed in Ferguson, Mo.

Hailing from Port Arthur, Tex., Jackson reached out to legendary MC Scarface for assistance on the heavy hitting cut. Both rappers use a slow flow to deliver their politically charged messaging.
