Even the biggest Wu-Tang Clan flag bearer would be hard-pressed to remember the last time all of the members of the storied group were together. That all changed last week when the entire nine-man collective (and the spirit of Ol’ Dirty Bastard) crashed the offices over at Warner Bros. and signed a deal to release their long-awaited comeback album, A Better Tomorrow.
Hip-Hop Wired was so graciously invited to the scene and we caught up with the movement’s nucleus–The RZA–to get an exclusive overview on how exactly the crew decides to appeal to a new generation that may not be accustomed to digesting their brand of lyricism.
The RZA isn’t worried as he tells us that the album is geared towards “anyone who likes music.” While it sounds like a broad description, watch the video above to see how the production wizard has meticulously planned for this moment, (as well as revealing the album’s producers).
In addition, check out a few photos on the flip side that show the Clan all in the same Voltron robot. They intent of making the day after today much more enjoyable for Hip-Hop culture.
