It’s all but mandatory that every artist doing it big these days surrounds themselves with a “team,” “clique,” “gang”–any variation of a large entourage that makes their movement appear larger than life.

Maejor Ali isn’t above tampering with tradition, but for the video presentation of his single “Me and My Team,” he found a different way to roll it out.

The R&B singer channels his inner Tupac from Above the Rim as he coaches a street basketball with plenty of Bangin’ Candy on the sidelines. Trey Songz comes in with the assist midway to bring more melody to the blacktop and Kid Ink crashes the boards to clean up the track.

Director G. Visuals splits the camera time in between living color and black and white keep the entire crisp the entire way through.
