Ahead of Wu-Tang’s A Better Tomorrow, RZA stars in a brand-new PETA ad campaign in which the legendary spitter announces that “A Better Tomorrow Is a Vegan Tomorrow. I Am RZA, and I Am Vegan.”
“When you think about a better tomorrow, you think about veganism in the world,” explained the Wu-Tang unit. I don’t need a dead animal or a dead piece of flesh to go into my live body. There’s not nothing on this planet that doesn’t want to live.”
The Scientist also talked about the influence of other rap icons, including Russell Simmons and KRS-One, who helped champion veganism within the culture. Even his song “Beef,” recounts vivid details about the process animals endure before they make it onto our dinner plates.
