Amidst a deafening uproar in response to the Mike Brown case, Hood Billionaire is available and Rick Ross is a man about town. He stopped by The Breakfast Club to discuss the album and more.

While this release lacks the critical response that the “B.M.F.” rapper is used to, you wouldn’t be able to tell by the confidence and nonstop charisma he exhibits in this brief but telling interview.

DJ Envy, Angela Yee and Charlamagne Tha God got some much needed updates from him and had Ross discuss some music, business and old beefs.

So we present the top 10 things we learned from The Breakfast Club Rick Ross interview. Do you believe him about why he didn’t keep the Tink version of “Movin’ Bass”? Let us know in the comments section.

1. The Album

He released this album the same year as Mastermind to do something for the streets. What do you think of the Hood Billionaire?

2. K. Michelle

Even though they have been very cozy, Ross denied he is having romantic relations with K. Michelle.

3. Freeway Ricky

Ross is not interested in doing any business with the real “Freeway” Rick Ross due to the salt he threw on Rozay and the allegations that the former drug kingpin testified on several people.

4. Meek

The judge has ordered Meek to take specific classes to help him so we all have to play the waiting game for his original six month sentence to run its course.

5. Weight Loss

Ross is not losing weight to hit a specific number on the scale but is interested in keeping himself in top condition.

6. Mike

Hood Billionaire was released when the verdict on the Mike Brown trial was. Ross said it did frustrate him as he feels it is open season on young Black males.

7. Grooming

Ross knows one of his artists are ready to drop an album when he sees the proper groundwork being put in. He says Omarion is up next with his album Sex Playlist.

8. Ming Lee

When asked if he has a situation with Ming Lee, he didn’t give a direct answer. So we assume yes.

9. Tink & Timbaland

So the story goes that Jay Z and Rick Ross recorded the original “Movin’ Bass.” Timbaland who produced the record let his artist Tink play with the record. Timbo played the version to Ross and he passed on it. Now that version leaked and Ross is not happy with Timbaland.

10. Trick Trick

Ross is not interested in patching things up with Trick Trick either.
