Last week, we got to the heart of any true Mona Scott-Young affair after Jhonni provided Paris with a quick fade right in front of Rich Dollaz. This is the Love & Hip-Hop New York we’ve all come to know and loathe.

It set things up for more tension in Rich’s struggle empire. Meanwhile, things weren’t exactly going smooth for Peter, as he tried to balance things between Amina and Tara. Mendeecees had some BM drama as well as Cisco too. Are we sensing a recurring theme here? Hit the jump to see how things came to a head this week.

I Don’t Need To Meet Them

Apparently the whole notion of meeting your significant other’s family is overrated. Chrissy is showcasing some horrible wig game this week and hoping to get some insight on Chink by meeting his fam. But the word is they’re not feeling her, and the feeling of wanting to meet is far from mutual.

Something About Remy

Queue up the night’s first burn courtesy of Yandy. Mendeecees has been getting some administrative assistance from a woman named Remy who slid in his DMs and has been helping him. Bonus points for the fact Yandy refers to her as “Stalkmaster Flex,” but she should watch her back and attire. Yandy is trying to get her canned.

I’m Scared Of Rich And His Surprises

Paris’ apprehension to working with Rich isn’t exactly eased when Cyn tells her Rich and Jhonni used to be bed buddies. Rich has respectively apologized to both Paris and Johnni, but there may be too much estrogen in this situation for things to work out.

Lay Off The Women For Now

When they’re not throwing hands themselves, the mothers on L&HHNY actually have some decent advice. As Cisco and his mother take out some time to grieve for his late brother, Ma Dukes hits him with some useful advice about putting his jumpoffs on the back burner so he can focus.

Who Would’ve Thought Someone Could Handle Me?

There’s a brief interruption from the drama in the form of Erica Mena giving Amina and the viewers too much info. She tells Amina Bow Wow is putting down that Grade A, and she’s glowing. That whole mermaid scene looks like it was lifted from Empire though.

The Way Peter Was Acting

All that “five steps of healing” talk seemingly goes out the door when Amina tells Tara she was just one of about a half dozen women Peter was cheating on Tara with. See what had happened was… Tara confronts Peter who finally decides to cover his filthy feet, and the outcome isn’t pretty.

Diamond’s Flaws

Much like in real life, Diamond isn’t completely feeling the new, nice guy she’s seeing. She arranges a meet with Cisco, but bringing up his old text messages with Tasha probably isn’t the move when he’s grieving about his brother.

I Accept Your Apology, B***h!

As predicted, Rich’s plan to reconcile things between Paris and Jhonni didn’t work out. The orchestrated shopping spree/apology session between Rich, Paris, and Jhonni backfired in a major way when Paris tried to get revenge for that little studio incident. Instead, Precious Paris ended up catching her second fade in two weeks.

Security Clearance

Does anyone else think Black is way too protective of Chink? Having your boy’s back is one thing. Running his chick through a background check, though? Maybe he should be handling that himself…just saying. At any rate, it looks like Black’s initial mistrust of Chrissy has been somewhat eased.

Sign Them Papers?

Some fireworks are already lined up for next week, as Amina and Peter start taking about a potential divorce and/or Amina bouncing to Germany with the baby. And it doesn’t look like Remy learned her lesson in terms of minding her own business.
