Pusha T is no doubt at the top of his game, with a new album in stores, King Push – Darkest Before Dawn: The Prelude, in stores while he holds down a plush gig as President of G.O.O.D. Music. Push A Ton recently linked with Vice for insight on his career back then, now and moving forward.

Says Miss Info:

On Wednesday (Jan. 20), VICE launched their brand-new viral series Autobiographies. Music entertainers, creatives, and athletes will all be featured in the series. G.O.O.D. Music’s Pusha T stars in the first episode, where the Virginia native sits down for an intimate conversation. The premier lyricist speaks on forming The Clipse with brother Gene (No Malice) in 1992, their rise to rap stardom, their classic Lord Willin debut LP, the pushbacks and label drama leading up to their sophomore effort Hell Hath No Fury, and the moment that lead to The Clipse’s breakup.

We also feel it’s necessary to point out that Push hit up Famous Fish on 145th St. in Harlem. Respect.

The moment when Malice tells Push what he’s fittin’ to “dial into,” signaling the end of the Clipse, is powerful.

Vice’s Autobiographies series—featuring Ty Dolla $ign, Nigel Sylvester, A$AP Ferg, and more—will be running on Verizon’s go90 streaming service. Watch Pusha T speak on his come up below.
