Off kilter isn’t an adequate enough description for Oh No‘s set of visuals for “Jones’s,” featuring Blu and MED. Credit that to Hayden Baptiste, who directed the creative shots.

Neither Blu or MED appear in bodily form in the shots. Yes, you heard that right. Instead, pictures probably found on Google images represent each artist, while a phantom mouth spits their lyrics, a la Cassius’s “I Love You So” video.

Viewers will spy snagged footage from notable YouTube videos in the mix also. Oh No even makes a cameo appearance in the clip, disguised as a blonde haired fellow. We can’t be mad at someone who makes their budget work for them.

The track itself features a spastic loop, on which Blu and MED give their best lyrical efforts. Those familier with either MC know the wordplay is real.

“Jones’s” will appear on Oh No’s forthcoming album Disrupted Ads, set to release January 29. Last year, Oh No made an album loaded with top flight features using the music and scores from Rudy Ray Moore (Dolemite) films that unfortunately flew under a lot of listeners’ radars. Considering this, Disrupted Ads looks to be another quality project.
