The thing to know (and love?) about Azealia Banks is that her Twitter mood changes with the weather, as does the direction of her  Broke With Expensive Taste debut. Banks has scrapped the two tracks, “Miss Amor” and Miss Camraderie,” as the first singles off her forthcoming release,  and replaced them with “Yung Rapunxel.”

The Harlem native announced the news online earlier today. “BIG CHANGE OF PLANS. My first single is actually not going 2 be Miss Amor / Miss Camaraderie. It’s goin 2 be a song called “YUNG RAPUNXEL” prod. By @LILINTERNET.”

Banks failed to reveal any details on the sound but given some of her previous work it will likely be fast-paced and march to the beat of its own musical drum.

With her album still on the horizon Banks has been keeping herself out there by continuing to release new music. She first dropped her 1991 EP, and followed it up with the Fantasea mixtape. Released over the summer, Fantasea has been downloaded more than 40,000 times on Datpiff.com.

“Yung Rapunxel” will drop Feb. 12. As for her long awaited Broke with Expensive Taste release, be on the lookout for that project later in the year.
