Known Hip-Hop enthusiast Roblé Ali, better known as Chef Roblé of Bravo’s of Chef Roblé & Co., has assembled a rap parody group. We can’t blame you if CB4 is the first thing that comes to mind, but the young chef isn’t trying his hand at living the street life a la MC Gusto. Instead, he sticks to what he knows best; food.
The group has been aptly coined the Food-Tang Clan, and their specialty is flipping some of rap’s most popular tracks with a food concept. Songs like A$AP Rocky‘s “F**kin’ Problems” get remixed with a hilarious twist, which in this case becomes the gluttony anthem, “Grubbin’ Problems.”
In a formal introduction video, Roblé says that the group was birthed from one central thought. “Everybody likes comedy. Everybody likes food. And everybody that like Hip-Hop is going to like all of those things at once, and that’s what we’re doing with the Food-Tang Clan.”
Be on the lookout for the Food-Tang Clan’s forthcoming, but yet to be titled mixtape, set to hit the Internets very soon. Meet the members of the Clan in the visual below, and hear the crew’s first track “Grubbin’ Problems” on the following page.
