Last night was the penultimate (look it up) episode of Love & Hip Hop New York and though it had plenty of f-ckery, it also featured some genuinely tear jerking moments. Okay, just one.
Certainly some thugs tears were shed when seeing Mendeecees Harris trying to explain to his 7-year-old son why he wouldn’t be seeing him for a long while. The producers saved this moment for the end of the show. Good move considering the all out ratchetness that littered the rest of the episode.
Where do we begin? There was Joe Budden basically confirming that this entire season he was scheming on making a return visit to Tahiry Jose’s ridiculously ample cakes. The New Jersey rapper also basically asked his current (at the time) love interest, Kaylin, for permission to take a trip with Tahiry to the Dominican Republic to work out her daddy issues. He wanted to lend “support.” Right.

But last night’s struggle medal of honor must go to Rich Dollaz. Son had two women fighting over him while his mom and the client he isn’t smashing, Olivia, tried to explain the err of his ways. Dude admitted he was tapping Erica Mena as weird sort of revenge. Cold.
We ain’t even mention Jen the Pen’s fear of Consequence. With all that said, here are 10 things we learned from last night’s episode of Love & Hip Hop New York.

We gotta call bullsh-t on Yandy saying she didn’t know why Mendeecees was being interviewed by the Feds. You’re engaged, come on now.
The line of the night goes to Tahiry saying Raqi has a unibrow. We chuckled.
A thug tear was shed. No shame. Kids need their daddies.
