SUPRA launched their Skytop III “LA” sneakers at the grand opening of the company’s Santa Monica, Calif. store Thursday (April 25) night. Only 100 pairs of the limited edition kicks will go up for sale, exclusively at the location.
Minimalism takes precedent in the third installment of the Skytop sneaker series. The black mid-top sneakers are made of wax suede, sitting atop SUPRAFOAM mid soles and marble gum outsoles. The low key design includes TPU cage holding up the black laces, and “LA” stitching both on the lateral heel and the outer sides of the shoe. There’s also a skyline hang tag, paying further tribute to the City of Angels.
Hitboy, pro skater Terry Kennedy, DJ Ill Will and Odd Future members Taco and Stunnaman, were among those showing up to support the launch. The sneaker will officially go on sale tomorrow (April 27 ) at the Santa Monica store.
