Digital presence, or a lack thereof, is the reason some rappers flourish and others fall by the wayside. Kid Ink sits comfortably under the former, and proves why with a new visual for “Bossin’ Up.”

The treatment gives new life to a track that originally appeared on the former XXL Freshman’s 2012 mixtape Rocketshipshawty. Kid Ink keeps things simple and clean in the shots by rapping in a well-lit, blacked out space accompanied by an attractive lady or two.

Brief bits of color appear from the Los Angeles native‘s mounds of jewelry; he doesn’t hesitate to floss it either. His gold pieces and a smokey haze give the scenes a nice effect. Thank director Dan Corleone for the that.

Kid Ink is currently readying the release of his Almost Home EP, which releases via iTunes May 28. The RCA signee is also cooking up his major label debut. Expect that some time in the near future.
